I've been trying to work out a good, cheap DC motor controller - I think I've got it!

So I've been looking and looking at power supplies, motor controllers, and the like and seen a few references to using a dimmer switch for lowering voltage and bridge rectifiers for converting AC to DC. Well I just happened to score on a whole lot of bridge rectifiers rated for 1600 volts and 25 amps (more than I will ever need!) so I threw a few things together to try them out...

Worked out really well, so I video tapped everything and uploaded the video to Youtube - check out the video, it explains it all and if you have any questions or comments feel free to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

I'm also selling a bunch of the bridge rectifiers for really cheap HERE and for a box of 20 go HERE
