WELCOME TO THE BACKYARD WORKSHOP!

HI! My name's Jamie and I've got a few hobbies I'd like to share with you! This site will be for all of my various "workshop" interests which include:

  • My Homemade CNC Machines
  • Mastercam, ArtCam, and Mach 3
  • Woodworking Projects
  • My Shopsmith Mark VII
  • Metal Casting and Metalworking
  • My Aluminum Foundry

I've always got a project I'm working on and I'll document the results and post pictures and videos of the process. Some of the projects that I'm working on are: My second homemade CNC machine and my aluminum foundry for designing and casting my own parts. I've also got a few woodworking projects going as well such as a desk and other furniture. I am working on a new "Ultimate Workbench" for my shop. I've also started making signs and many other parts on the CNC machine - so check out my Photo Gallery for pictures of everything I make!

Have fun checking out the site and always remember - SAFETY FIRST!

Need Custom Parts? If you're looking to have some custom parts made on the CNC - give me a shot at it! I can mill wood, plastic, aluminum, or I can cast your part in aluminum as well! I'm always looking for something to make and I love a good challenge! This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
